A video clip website of a random experiment in audio. This is a easy product consisting of a stainless metal ventilation duct with a speaker at one end, mounted to a 4×4 with a chair leg mounted inside of to pin the tube down. the midrange speaker makes contact with the best of the tube. I found the natural frequency (136hz) for the tube, which can be modulated by any tone you want to amplify. The “Fog horn” influence you listen to in the movie is made by the tube alone matching 136hz frequency and resonating. If you pay attention closely, the tube continues to vibrate about two-three seconds following the audio is shut off.
@purefhate The quality from 30-500hz is better on these than my Kappa 6x9s. The kappas where only , to my ear more pleasing from about 5k+ . The HIGH HIGH range. These can be a TAD sharp up high. BUT a crossover in your amp can also help that. So keep that in mind. Also . These puppies are only 90 Bucks for a set. With crossovers and wires. Its a steal.
Hey I have always used Polk audio components, infinity kappa perfects, jl audio c5, focal k5 and mb quart… They all sound amazing, sound q I think they are among the best…
I used Rockford fosgate, kenwood, pioneer components and they are loud but no sound quality they are kind of crappy even though they are pretty expensive… I hAve never heard of crescendo audio… Where does this brand fall in place how does it compare to sound quality or is this one of those Pyle audio, boss, q power c
@JTONE1212 Can you re word your question ?
Does each speaker get its own terminal or do the crossovers bring it down to one terminal per side?
Have you got these installed in your car yet ? if so hows do they sound for a $99 pair ?
Bout to get myself 4 pairs of these as soon as they get them back in stock!
Im quite excited!
@TylerTron21 ok sorry i saw the description but thought in the test video since they were on your lap you had them just hooked up to the regular head unit output maybe didnt have the amp on them yet.. thanks for clearing it up though. ima buy me a pair of these this week :)
@comandercool101 Yes. I explain in the description under the video.
do you have an amp hooked up to them in this test video?
the middle pointy thing looks like a penis masturbating XD
they sound crystal clear.
i dident =D
@reiningern777 Extremely worth it. :)
I was thinking of buying 4 of these, are they worth it? They sure do look nice
nice video… just wondering why you chose to have it in your crotch ??? lol
That camera effect is just wicked man…
chuck up a duece has some killer snare lol. i grabbed a pair of these comps for my buddy, not bad but the terminals felt cheap and the cone is a bit flimsy. one of the tweeters failed too. still sound good regardless of the price i spose
beastly
@TylerTron21 Crescendo Opus series? Google them. I’m starting to think that there is like 2 Crescendo brands or something.
@TylerTron21 I’d suggest cutting the mids around 70-80, cross the lows around 65-70. You want a little gap in there because cutoff frequencies are on a slope, not IMMEDIATE. So while the mids play half-volume at 65hrz, let’s say, the sub will just start picking it up… Gotta listen to it, sine sweeps are your friend!
