This is devoted to the “specialist” reviewers and other amateurs who statements the Edifier s730 and other S-Sequence speakers (ex. s530,s550,s750) lacks of midrange frequency reaction. The subwoofer is entirely disconnected to prevent people declaring the subwoofer is generating this sound,this is completely the bookhelf speakers their selves. @deep8386 Bose sats are good at high and midrange frequencies tooo, but sure about their subwoofers.
@ChibiChristophurr: Bose are the most over-rated speaker manufactures ever! None of their products perform up to the price. None of their products are audiophile grade (counter to the popular belief).
Edifier on the other hand is a new brand and working hard to make it to the mainstream. They make quality products (for e.g s550′s mdf casing >>> z5500 ugly plastic casing). But then again, they too are not audiophile grade.
